A Formal Invitation to Volunteer
Alumni and students are invited to give their time in service of the homecoming and the department.
Since 1958, the Department of Economics at the University of Ibadan has shaped generations of economists, policymakers, public servants, founders, and institutional leaders. Homecoming 2026 brings that network back to Ibadan for five days of reunion, service, giving, mentoring, celebration, and renewed commitment to the department. Volunteers form part of that continuing effort, lending their time to the week's proceedings and to the wider community of the University of Ibadan.
On Thursday (afternoon), the programme includes Community Outreach and Volunteering Services: Alumni-led service activities in support of the university community.
